An Abbey Road Entertainment Horse Race Party Night will bring your guests all the fun and excitement of the races but in the comfort of your own venue. Whether a wedding reception, birthday party or fundraising event, you are betting on the sure thing!

Abbey Road Entertainment horse race nights use top of the line video projection and digital sound equipment to bring all the excitement of a day at Woodbine to your event.

How does it work?

The odds will be posted on the wall as well as in pamphlets spread out around the room. This grabs the attention of your guests from the moment they walk through the door.

Using the latest video screen (6′ x 4′) (upgrades available) projection system, together with professional sound system equipment, will present the races with eight runners in each. Two “bookies” will be walking around the room taking the patrons “action”. There will also be a cashier/MC where people will be able to place their bets as well.

All our races have close finishes with the winner being in doubt right up to the post. Your guests really will have something to shout about as they watch their selections battle it out…on the flat and over the fences!

Races are normally run between dinner courses and / or after dinner. Our MC will introduce the event prior to the first race, explaining how it all works. Fun Money and Racecards are handed out by our “bookies” as the MC reads through the ‘runners and form’ for Race One. Betting then begins in whichever form has been chosen for your event. Two minutes before ‘the off’ a preview of the horses going down to post is shown on the screen and the last few wagers are concluded.

At the end of the night the play money is counted. Prizes are awarded to the patrons who were the most successful handicappers.
