Standard DJ Package

Music sets the tone of the whole night, so our DJ packages arrive complete: an experienced event DJ, a professional PA system, dance-floor lighting and a planning consultation before the day. Every DJ on our roster has worked corporate events, weddings, mitzvahs and private parties across Toronto and the GTA, so they know how to read a room and keep the floor busy without hijacking it. Add an MC, extra speakers, uplighting, cold sparklers or an LED dance floor and we deliver, set up, run and strike it all as one booking.

Corporate Event DJ

Company parties, client appreciation nights, conferences and fundraisers. Our corporate DJs read a professional room: background sets during dinner and networking, then the volume and tempo up once the floor opens. Add an MC to handle announcements, awards and speeches so nobody has to pass a microphone around.

Wedding DJ

From ceremony music and cocktail hour through introductions, first dance and last call. Your DJ plans the run sheet with you in advance, coordinates with your planner and venue, and keeps the floor moving all night. Uplighting, cold sparklers and an LED dance floor can all be added to the same booking.

Bar & Bat Mitzvah DJ

A crowd of teenagers and a room of adults want very different playlists, and our mitzvah DJs move between them all night. Pair the DJ with dancers, giveaways, LED games or a photo booth and we deliver, staff and strike the entire package together.

Hiring a DJ in Toronto: what to know

Do you provide professional DJs for events in Toronto and the GTA?Yes! Abbey Road Entertainment works with experienced DJs who specialize in everything from weddings and corporate events to mitzvahs and nightlife-style celebrations. Every DJ brings top-tier equipment and personality.
Can I request custom music or playlists?Absolutely. You can submit a list of must-plays, do-not-plays, or general vibes, and your DJ will mix accordingly. Reading the room and keeping the energy high is what they do best.
What’s included in a DJ package?We provide all audio gear, microphones, and optional lighting. Our packages are flexible, so whether you’re throwing a small office party or a 300-guest wedding, we’ve got the right setup.

DJ Services FAQs

Will our DJ take requests?
Yes. Every DJ booking includes a phone consultation where you go through your preferences, must-plays and any do-not-play list, so the set is built around your event before the day. Guests can request on the night too, at your discretion.
How much does it cost to hire a DJ in Toronto?
Our minimum order is $1,500 + HST, and the final price depends on hours, equipment and any add-ons such as an MC, uplighting or a dance floor. Send us your date, venue and guest count and we will come back with a written quote.
What is included in the standard DJ package?
Five hours of service, one professional DJ, an 800-watt PA system, two dance-floor lights and a planning consultation. Extra speakers, a subwoofer, more lighting, an MC, cold sparklers, uplighting and dance-floor performers can all be added.
Do you provide an MC as well as a DJ?
Yes. An MC can be added to any DJ booking to handle introductions, announcements, awards and speeches, which keeps the evening running to time without the host having to run it.
How much space and power does a DJ need?
A typical setup needs roughly a 2.5 by 2.5 metre area and standard power outlets nearby. Larger rooms may need extra speakers. Tell us the venue and we will confirm what it needs before the day.
Do you travel outside Toronto?
Yes. We cover Toronto and the GTA as standard and regularly travel across the Golden Horseshoe and Ontario, with Canada-wide options available. Delivery is quoted by distance.
How far in advance should we book a DJ?
As early as you can, particularly for December, and for wedding season. Popular dates go first, and booking early also locks in the specific equipment and add-ons you want.
Can the DJ work with our venue and planner?
Yes. Your DJ will coordinate the run sheet, sound restrictions and load-in times directly with your venue or planner. We work at venues across Toronto regularly and are used to their rules.
Are you insured?
Yes. We carry a $5,000,000 liability policy and provide certificates of insurance to your venue or building at no cost.
