However you like to work

Two ways to get a quote

Some people want to see every option first. Others would rather hand it over. Both routes end in the same place, a written quote for your business events, with no obligation.

Route one: browse

You pick, we price it

Best if you already have a sense of what you want, or you just enjoy looking. Everything we own is on the site with photos, detail and sizes.

  • Shortlist anything you like as you go
  • Send the list over when you’re ready
  • We price it and confirm what’s free on your date
Browse all rentals

Route two: we plan it

You brief us, we propose

Best if you’d rather not start from a blank page. Tell us the basics and an event specialist builds the recommendation around them.

  • Budget, date, venue and the theme you’re after
  • We come back with a plan built for your space and crowd
  • Change anything you like before you commit

Before you ask

Good to know

The things people usually check first, answered up front, so you can get on with planning.

01Minimum order
Full-service bookings start at $1,500 + HST. Final pricing scales with your guest count and the services you choose.
02Delivery, setup & strike
We deliver, set up and take everything away again. Delivery is quoted by distance: Toronto and the GTA, the Golden Horseshoe, and Canada-wide when needed.
03Staffing
Games attendants, casino dealers, game-show hosts, bartenders and performers can be added to any booking, as a paid add-on quoted with your package.
04Insurance
We carry a $5,000,000 liability policy and provide certificates of insurance to your venue or building at no cost.
05Custom branding
Our in-house design and print team can add your logo, colours or a full wrap to photo booths, backdrops, casino felts and many of our games. Custom branding is a separate service and carries an additional fee, quoted per item.
06One supplier
Over 350 rentals and services across 18 categories, so the games, décor, AV, staff and talent all arrive from one team on one invoice.

What Abbey Road brings to your business events

The experience

  • Over 8,000 events executed since 2008. Most of them corporate and business events.
  • Regulars at Toronto’s major venues, including the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, the Enercare Centre and the major hotel chains, so we know the loading docks, the union rules and the move-in windows.
  • AV and interactive programming from one supplier: projection and screens, PA systems, uplighting, branded games, photo activations and full game-show productions.
  • Any one of our over 350 rentals can be custom-branded by our in-house design and print team: wraps, felts, backdrops, signage and screen content.

The equipment

We own what we rent. Over 500 rentals and services across 18 categories live in our own warehouse, which is why one phone call covers the games, the décor, the AV, the staff and the talent, and why we can tell you on the spot what is available for your date. For business events, these are the categories we pull from most:

How it works

From first call to final pack-out

1

Tell us about your event

Date, venue, headcount and what you want guests to walk away with. A quick call or the quote form is enough to start.

2

We build the plan

An event specialist recommends a mix that suits the space, the crowd and the budget, then sends you a written quote.

3

We deliver and set up

Our own crew brings everything in, installs it and tests it before your doors open.

4

We run it, then strike it

Attendants, dealers and hosts on request. When it’s over, we pack it all out.

Pathway 02: have us plan it

Tell us four things and we’ll design your business events for you

You don’t have to browse 500 rentals or build your own quote to get started. Send us your budget, your venue, your guest count and the kind of event you’re picturing, and one of our event specialists will come back with a recommended plan built around all four, with pricing.

It is the fastest way to get a real answer, and there is no obligation. Prefer to pick everything yourself? The full collection is always there to browse.

  • 01
Your budget A range is plenty. It lets us put forward a mix that is actually realistic instead of wasting your time.
  • 02
Your venue The name or address, indoors or out, and anything awkward about the load-in, ceiling height or power.
  • 03
Your guest count Roughly how many people, and whether that includes partners, clients or kids.
  • 04
Theme or vibe A theme you have already settled on, or just the feeling you are after: relaxed, competitive, upscale, nostalgic, branded.

What people book for business events

Six of the most-requested categories for this kind of event. Everything below is delivered, set up and taken away by our own crew.

01

Casino Rentals

The single best ice breaker we supply. Six strangers sit down at a blackjack or roulette table, the dealer carries the conversation, and people rotate through all evening. Guests play with funny money, so there is no gambling and no barrier to joining in. Tables can be branded with your logo on the felts. If your networking night needs one thing in the room to make people mix, make it this.

02

Game Show Rentals

Nothing mixes a room faster than teams. Our hosted game shows (The Challenge and Fabulous Feud) split delegates into groups that were not sitting together, and by the second round people are shouting answers at colleagues from other departments. Questions can be written around your company, your product or the content of the conference itself, which makes it a genuine closing session rather than a filler.

03

Arcade Game Rentals

Set to free play and put near the bar or the registration desk, an arcade cabinet is a conversation starter that needs no explanation. Two-player games work best (Pac-Man, air hockey, basketball, Roll-A-Ball) because they turn a queue into a pairing. Ideal for the coffee break and the awkward first twenty minutes of a reception, when nobody has anything to do with their hands.

04

Giant Game Rentals

Giant Jenga, connect four and lawn games are the quiet ice breaker: a two-minute commitment, no rules to learn, and a natural excuse to talk to whoever is standing next to you. They work in a corner of a reception without dominating the room, indoors or out, and they need no power at all: useful when the venue has already run out of outlets.

05

Photo Booth Rentals

A branded photo activation does two jobs at a business event: guests leave with a keepsake, and your logo goes home in every picture. The queue is often where the real networking happens. Choose from enclosed booths, 360 spin, roaming photographers, mirror booths and AI portraits, with custom overlays and instant sharing to email or text.

06

Promotional & Trade Show Rentals

Prize wheels, money machines and branded attractions for product launches, exhibitor booths and registration areas. These are the pieces that create a small huddle in a corridor: under three minutes to play, nothing to explain, and a result worth commenting on. Everything here can be wrapped in your campaign by our in-house design and print team.

Frequently asked questions

What are the best ice breaker games for corporate events?
A casino night networking event is the best format we supply, six strangers sit down together, the dealer carries the conversation and people rotate naturally. After that: a hosted game show that splits the room into mixed teams, giant games in a corner of the reception, and an arcade cabinet or claw machine on free play near the bar.
What is a good conversation starter for a networking night?
Something that takes under three minutes, needs no explanation and produces a result worth commenting on. A prize wheel by the registration desk, a claw machine near the bar, a branded photo activation with a queue. The queue is often where the actual networking happens.
Do you provide entertainment for conferences and seminars?
Yes, for the gaps rather than the sessions. Registration, coffee breaks, transitions and the evening reception. A game show also works as a closing session that recaps the day using the delegates' own answers.
Can you brand everything for a product launch?
Yes. Our in-house design and print team can wrap games, backdrops, photo booths, casino felts and prize wheels in your campaign, so guests handle the brand instead of watching it. Custom branding is a separate service, quoted per item.
Do you do AV for conferences?
Not full production. We supply screens, projectors, PA and lighting as event equipment, but we are not an AV production house. No staging, rigging or show calling. If that is what your conference needs, we will say so rather than take the booking.
Which venues do you work in?
The MTCC, the Enercare Centre and the major hotel chains regularly, plus offices, event spaces and warehouses across Toronto and the GTA. Short load-in windows and freight elevators are routine for us.
What does entertainment for a business event cost?
Our minimum order is $1,500 + HST. Pricing scales with guest count, how many pieces you want and whether you need dealers, attendants or a host. Give us a range and a headcount and we will come back with something realistic.
Are you insured, and can you provide a certificate?
Yes. We carry a $5,000,000 liability policy and issue certificates of insurance to your venue or building at no charge. Most venues ask for one, and we handle it for you.
How much space does an ice breaker activity need?
Less than you would think. A blackjack table needs about 8 by 6 feet with room for dealers and standing players; a claw machine or arcade cabinet needs a 3-foot square and a plug. Send us the floor plan and we will place them where the traffic actually is.

Reviews

What our clients say

One comment on our conference survey was “Casino night was fabulous!” 100% rated casino night as either “satisfied” or “very satisfied”.
Town of Whitby
I was looking for a specific theme and Abbey Road Ent. fit the bill. Plus, they were responsive, and affordable. The customer services has been impeccable, and I will be using Abbey Road’s services for future corporate events.
Romona, Zayo
This is an exceptional company to do business with! Our company booked them last year for an annual corporate event, and we were so pleased that we booked them again this year. We will continue this tradition! As someone that has a lot of planning to do for this important event, it can be a very stressful process. Many companies do not respond or communicate, so you know for sure that you don't want to take a chance on them dropping the ball on event day. Abbey Road is not only quick to respond to all of the inquiries, they are happy to make changes to things and do so with a smile. Such friendly and professional service, I really cannot say enough. They took so many of my worries away. Our customers loved the decor too.
Sophia Springer
We were extremely pleased at the professionalism and great attitude of the staff that attended our conference. They did an excellent job

Read the full guide to business events in Toronto

Business events fail at the networking, not at the agenda. People arrive, take a drink, find the one colleague they already know and talk to them for two hours. Everything on this page exists to interrupt that.

Networking event ideas in Toronto that get strangers talking

Most networking event ideas fall into two groups: things that make people queue together, and things that put them on the same team. Both work. Anything that asks someone to stand up and introduce themselves does not.

Ice breaker games for corporate events

The best ice breakers are the ones nobody realises are ice breakers. A blackjack table gets six strangers sitting shoulder to shoulder with a shared reason to talk. Ice breaker games for corporate events do not get more reliable than this: Casino Rentals is the most effective networking tool we supply, and it is not close: guests play with funny money, the dealer carries the conversation, and people rotate naturally.

A hosted game show does the same thing louder: Game Show Rentals split the room into teams that were not sitting together, and by the second round people are shouting answers at colleagues from other departments. Giant Game Rentals work quietly in a corner of a reception: giant Jenga is a two-minute commitment, which is exactly the right length for a first conversation.

Conversation starters for a networking event

If a full activity is too much, a conversation starter is a single object placed where people queue. A claw machine near the bar, a prize wheel by the registration desk, an Arcade Game Rentals cabinet on free play, anything that creates a small huddle. The rule we use is that a conversation starter should take under three minutes, need no explanation and produce a result worth commenting on.

Branded photo activations do double duty here: guests get a keepsake, you get your logo in every photo that leaves the room, and the queue is itself a place people talk.

Conference and seminar entertainment

For conferences and seminars, the entertainment goes in the gaps: registration, the coffee break, the transition between sessions, the evening reception. A game show can also be used as a closing session to recap the day's content with the delegates' own answers.

Product launches

A product launch needs the room to remember one thing. Custom branding is the lever: our in-house design team can wrap games, backdrops, photo booths and casino felts in your campaign, so people handle the brand rather than watch it.

What do you supply, and what do you not?

We supply and operate the interactive equipment: casino tables and dealers, game shows and hosts, arcade and giant games, photo activations, prize wheels and branded rentals. We do not do full AV production (no staging, rigging or show calling) and we do not organise conferences. We own everything we rent, so you deal with the source.

Which Toronto venues do you work in?

The MTCC, the Enercare Centre and the major hotel chains regularly, plus offices, event spaces and warehouses across the GTA. Tight schedules, freight elevators and short load-in windows are normal for us.
